What you need to know about WOWWW! and frequently asked questions.
With WOWWW you can make cheap domestic and international calls! Under Products & Rates you will find all important information about our Rates. Here you can order your free WOWWW Request sim card.
Validity of the credit
You have 12 months per recharge to use the entire credit. The validity period starts again from the beginning after each recharge. Further information can also be found in our GTC under point 4.
Note: If no recharge is made within 12 months, the number will be deactivated. The remaining credit can be reclaimed within 6 months after the blocking by proving the legitimacy of the application (SIM card, PUK code). Please refer to our fee overview for the processing fee for this.
From now on, you can use your existing mobile phone number to make calls with WOWWW!
And this is how it works:
1. Get a WOWWW! Starter package. You will receive a WOWWW! SIM card with a WOWWW! phone number, your previous phone number will then be transferred to this number.
Contact your previous network operator Have a “Number Portability Information” (NÜVI) issued at a service point (store or retail partner) of your mobile network provider. Please note that your previous provider may charge a fee for this, which you can find in the respective terms and conditions of charges.
3. Fill in the porting application Fill in the WOWWW! porting application, which you can download here as a PDF.
4. Send the application to WOWWW! Together with sheet 2 (confirmation) of the “Information on number porting” by mail – postage paid by recipient (if “porting” is clearly visible on the envelope) – to: WOWWW!, P.O. Box 619, 1010 Vienna.
5. Phone number successfully transferred to WOWWW! WOWWW! will automatically inform you by SMS as soon as your phone number is transferred and you can make cheap domestic and international calls!
Important note: Please note that the number porting does not automatically terminate your contractual relationship with your existing mobile provider! You must therefore cancel this contract separately.

You can use your phone number and customer password (in the letter accompanying your WOWWW! SIM card) to view your account balance, last calls and last recharge on our site in the account manager. In the account manager, you can also top up your balance using a recharge voucher. The use of the account manager is free of charge.
NEW by SMS:
From now on you are always in control of your free units/free SMS/minutes or MB! Simply send an SMS with the content: “info pakete” to the number 810820. Shortly after, you will receive an information informing you about remaining SMS, minutes or MB in your package/rate.
The reply SMS with the information about your current status of units will not be debited from the free quota, but to your WOWWW! SMS tariff, charged outside the package units! If you receive an error message, e.g. because the wrong text was sent, the reply SMS will not be charged!
You can top up the credit in the account manager on our site. Or simply call 810820 from your cell phone and follow the voice prompts.
1. Place the WOWWW! SIM card into your unlocked phone according to the user manual.
2. Turn on your cell phone.
3. Please type the PIN code located in the cover letter under the card using the keypad. Confirm with the # key
Your cell phone is now ready for use. Your starting credit is already loaded.
In the account manager you have the possibility to manage your SIM settings yourself. By simply switching it on and off, you can adjust roaming (telephony, SMS, data (EU and outside EU), international telephony, value-added services and other settings to your preferences at any time.
WOWWW! STARTER PACK is available in every tobacconist and call store.
From now on you can use the WOWWW! Order Starter Set including phone number and € 1 calling credit also online.

A new WOWWW! You can easily request customer password here. Click the “Forgot password” link in the account manager, your new WOWWW! Customer password will be sent to you via SMS.
Your cell phone is now protected by the PUK code, to unlock it simply enter the PUK code given on the SIM letter.
You can find the PIN and PUK code on the SIM letter enclosed in the starter set, please keep this data carefully.
If you can no longer find the SIM letter, send us a written request asking for the PIN to your phone number. Please attach the signed application together with a photo ID and the completed PUK code form to an e-mail and send it to us at

. You will then receive the information about your PIN or PUK code immediately by e-mail.
No! You cannot currently send or receive data or faxes with WOWWW! For WOWWW! GPRS Internet access (not WAP) is also available to customers. To use the service, you need a cell phone with a browser. The data access point VPN is “web.yesss.at” More detailed information about the setting can be found in the operating instructions of your cell phone. The rate for use in Austria is 9 cents per 32 KB.

WOWWW! throughout the EU
As of 15.06.2017, “Roam like at Home” applies. The usual roaming charges in the EU member states including Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland do not apply and you can use your tariff in these countries just like at home.
This rule applies whether you have a contract or value card plan. The only requirement is a roaming-capable tariff.
If you have a domestic tariff with free units, these are also valid for voice calls and SMS throughout the EU. There is only a limit on the data volume. The available EU data volume is as of 15.06. in your wowww! app or in the account manager.

Alternative Roaming Provider (ARP)
As of 1.7.2014, according to the EU regulation, you have the option to use regulated mobile services within the EU (incl. Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) while abroad in the EU (roaming) via an alternative roaming provider.
This means that you can sign an additional contract with an alternative roaming provider. This is possible at any time and free of charge.
There are two ways to do this:
- ARP: An alternative roaming provider takes over all regulated mobile services (calling, SMS, data, and MMS) abroad in the EU.
- LBO (Local Break Out): A local foreign provider exclusively handles data roaming in the respective country.
Please note:
The contract regarding the respective roaming services then exists exclusively with the alternative provider – you have no claims against wowww! in this regard;
You will receive separate invoices from the provider for services used through an ARP or LBO provider.
Please note: For the duration of your switch, the EU free units included in your wowww! contract, roaming packages or the automatic
Cost lock for data roaming not valid;
If you are using a local provider for data services, then you will need to choose your access point (APN) and may no longer be able to use certain services. Additionally, you will need to change the dial-in node again when you return to Austria to use wowww! services again. If you have any questions about the settings, then contact the alternative provider;
You will continue to use non-regulated services (e.g. 0800 numbers, value-added services) and roaming outside the EU at the conditions according to your wowww! tariff.
The wowww! Service Team cannot provide you with any information regarding your alternative roaming partner. To do so, contact your chosen ARP or LBO provider directly.
Note: To our knowledge, there is currently no ARP or LBO provider in the EU.
The rate for Internet use in Austria via GPRS is 0.9 cents per MB.
